Andre Johnson revealed on Friday that he has a desire to see his career out with the Houston Texans.
Texans fans have had to endure an up and down NFL season so far but on Friday they were given a huge piece of good news when Johnson revealed his intentions.
Andre Johnson is arguably the best ever Houston Texans player. The star wideout is currently playing in his 12th season for the Texans, a franchise which is only competing in its 13th season in the NFL this year.
Texan for life
During the last NFL offseason there were endless rumors about Johnson and many reports suggested that the seven-time Pro Bowler wanted out of Houston. But all of a sudden, Johnson seems to have had a dramatic change of heart.
"I don't want to play for nobody else," Johnson said Thursday, NFL.com reported. "I've been here for 12 years. It don't think it would feel right. I've seen everybody come and go in this locker room. (My) locker has been here the longest. I can't imagine how it would feel to put on someone else's uniform. You always want it to turn out OK. I want things to work out here."

Excited about the future
Johnson may have been surpassed by young receiver DeAndre Hopkins in the depth chart at the Texans, but rather than feel pressured to perform, Andre is excited by how much potential and talent Hopkins has to offer.
"He played lights out on Sunday," Johnson said of Hopkins' performance against Tennessee Titans. "He's grasped this system and you can tell he loves playing in it. I'm just happy for him. He's come in and worked hard."
Whether or not Johnson remains in Houston beyond this season remains to be seen. He is looking to play three more years with the franchise, but whether that really comes to fruition will be down to the Texans and Johnson's health.
