Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher made a cheap but very amusing joke at the expense of teammate Ashley Young in a new video published by sponsors Chevrolet.
In the video, which sees some of United’s stars asking each other questions, Young asked Fletcher what he thought was the England international’s best move.
The Scot responded by saying: “It’s got to be where you pretend to go down the line and you cut back on your right foot and whip it into the box.” He then instantly followed that up by cheekily adding: “I was going to say ‘diving’ but I can’t really say that.”
The watching James Wilson and Jesse Lingard saw the funny side - and, fortunately for Fletcher, Young did too.
The winger, who does have a reputation for going to ground a little too easily at times, then said: “See what I’m saying? This is what I have to deal with!”

Other questions include who they think has the best hair on the team, what their favourite pre-game meal is, and who their favourite footballers of all time are. (The video can be seen by clicking HERE or scrolling to the bottom of this page).
Young transformed by Van Gaal
Both Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes warned Young over his diving - but there have yet to be any incidents of simulation from the former Aston Villa star under the management of Louis van Gaal.
In fact, Van Gaal has transformed Young into a competent left-sided full-back during his relatively short spell in charge of the Red Devils.
The 29-year-old has performed admirably in an unfamiliar position and appears to have salvaged his Manchester United career over recent months.
Many United fans expected Young to be one of the first players out of Old Trafford following the arrival of Van Gaal in the summer, but at this rate he could even earn himself a new contract.
