Paul Scholes scores incredible goal in legends match

Are you watching, Louis van Gaal? Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has still got it. On this form, there will be calls to get him out of retirement once again. 

Last night, as Team Cannavaro took on Team Figo in Thailand, the Manchester United legend produced a quite brilliant chip to help his side secure an 8-5 victory. No, that wasn't a mistake, it really did end 8-5.

Relaxed 

And to make things even better for Scholes, who unsurprisingly seemed fairly relaxed about his wonderful effort, it came against former Arsenal 'keeper Jens Lehmann. Ideal. 

Oh, yeah, while we're at it, we better mention the fact that Scholes hit another brilliant goal (past Lehmann again) as he smashed the ball home from just inside the box.

There was certainly an array of talent on show in in Muangthong Thani, as the likes of Cafu, Kluivert, Nesta and even Howard Webb took to the pitch...

At 40-years-old, though, Scholes still possesses the quite ridiculous technique that helped him become a true legend at the Theatre of Dreams. There's no doubt about it, Manchester United fans will miss that midfield magician for many years to come.
