You don't see many ejections in the National Football League anymore, primarily for the fact that you really have to go all out to get yourself disqualified from a game.
Well, that's exactly what Brandon Williams of the Carolina Panthers managed against the New Orleans Saints today.
The Panthers tight end got himself thrown out of the game at the Superdome after throwing haymakers at Saints' opponents during a huge brawl after a Cam Newton TD.
Newton dove over into the end zone for a score, it seemed like one Saints player took offense to Cam's trademark superman celebration and it all escalated into a scrum that opened the doors at the edge of the field behind one of the goal posts.
Carolina tight end Williams was flagged and ejected. Saints linebacker Curtis Lofton drew a penalty, but he wasn’t ejected. Replays showed Williams throwing punches all over the shop.
Williams showed more fight in that brawl than all the Saints players have shown all day combined as they currently trail 38-3 at home at the end of the 3rd quarter.
