Punk on Lesnar aim

WWE fan favourite CM Punk has revealed that he’s happy to be compared with Brock Lesnar now that he’s signed up to the UFC.

The former WWE champion said that he had no problem with people likening him to his ex-colleague, who himself became UFC heavyweight champion after making the switch between sports. There’s an increasingly long list of fighters queuing up to fight Punk on his debut, with the likes of Michael Bisping keen.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo matched each other blow for blow this weekend, as they both bagged hat-tricks to ensure neutrals continue to find it impossible to pick them apart. Ronaldo scored all the goals as Real Madrid rolled over Celta Vigo 3-0, whilst his Barcelona counterpart played his part in a 5-1 demolition of rivals Espanyol.

Fogarty victory

Carl Fogarty has insisted that winning I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is the best thing to have happened to him, following his crowning upon the show’s culmination last night. The former World Superbike champion beat Jake Quickenden and presenter Melanie Sykes in the final, having lasted three weeks in the Australian jungle.
