La Liga masterclass
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo matched each other blow for blow this weekend, as they both bagged hat-tricks to ensure neutrals continue to find it impossible to pick them apart. Ronaldo scored all the goals as Real Madrid rolled over Celta Vigo 3-0, whilst his Barcelona counterpart played his part in a 5-1 demolition of rivals Espanyol.
Carl Fogarty has insisted that winning I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here is the best thing to have happened to him, following his crowning upon the show’s culmination last night. The former World Superbike champion beat Jake Quickenden and presenter Melanie Sykes in the final, having lasted three weeks in the Australian jungle.
