For years whenever members of the professional wrestling universe have been asked what their dream match would be, Undertaker vs Sting has always been the answer - or one of.
With what has been happening recently in the build up to the biggest night in WWE, WrestleMania, it seems all signs are pointing towards the most sought-after bout actually taking place during WrestleMania XXXI next year.
The Undertaker's image
As reported by PW Insider, The Phenom's image has been used for a whole range of materials related to the biggest event in WWE.
This has included a variety of marketing products, with WWE using his photo on the side of their production buses and trucks, surely indicating that the rumours surrounding the idea of the Undertaker being reportedly scheduled for WrestleMania XXXI are true.

With Sting having made his hugely long-awaited WWE debut last month at Survivor Series, the timing of this news relating to both of the legends must mean the chances of seeing them in the ring together next year cannot be ruled out entirely.
This would be an interesting occurrence however, given the fact The Dead Man's streak was broken by Brock Lesnar at last year's WrestleMania and there is no denying the physical toll the match had on the Undertaker.
In addition, we have been made aware that Sting has signed a contract with WWE which allows him to work a limited number of dates on the calendar.
Vince McMahon reiterated this point but did also near enough confirm that one of these dates will be on The Grandest Stage of Them All next year, in a match which Sting himself has said he always wanted to have before retiring from professional wrestling.
During a much-needed interview with Stone Cold Steve Austin, McMahon said of Sting:
"Well, he made a hell of an impression his first time in. His character is one in which you don't need to see a lot of because you become accustomed to it. I think you will see some of Sting and I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up at WrestleMania."
If the above is not enough to give an indication that we are more likely to see Sting vs the Undertaker next year than ever, the only thing WWE could do further is confirm the match.
What are your thoughts WWE fans, are we going to see the dream match next year or not?
