Alexis Sanchez has got a pretty good life. He earns £130,000-a-week at Arsenal, has a body most men can only dream about and plays football in a way every ten-year-old wishes they could.
Having moved from Barcelona to Arsenal, he now stands a great chance of becoming a cult hero in north London. Needless to say, Sanchez is winning at life, but wait, where is the trophy girlfriend?
Until recently, Sanchez could be seen sporting possibly one of the most attractive wags ever in Laia Grassi. The talented artist endeared herself to Arsenal fans immediately by posing with an Arsenal shirt just hours after his summer transfer was confirmed.
However, when your chips are high, people always try to take them away from you. That thief came in the form of Miss Chile Camila Andrade, who recently spoke at length about an alleged conversation she had with Sanchez in the summer.
The Gunners star, who is verging on divinity in his native Chile, allegedly approached the beauty queen on Whatsapp to ask her out for dinner. She declined, but had no hesitation in speaking out.
Things appeared to die down, until Tuesday morning when eagle-eyed fans noticed something significant about Grassi's Instagram account. All the photos of Sanchez and her together were gone. Even the famous picture of her in an Arsenal shirt was no more.
It drops a big hint that Grassi could have broken off the relationship between her and Sanchez, possibly as a result of the allegations by Andrade. Not even a Adonis like the Arsenal forward could take such news in his stride. Just look at her for goodness' sake.
This could end up being great news for Arsene Wenger, however, who has had to deal with rumours that Sanchez has been struggling to perform on the pitch because he has been worn out in the bedroom by Grassi.
The reports suggested that Sanchez could not help Arsenal beat Manchester United last month because he had been simply exhausted at home. Now he can concentrate solely on his football.
Having scored 14 goals for Arsenal already this season, you have to wonder how much better he can get.
