LeBron James has sparked outrage across the Atlantic after his meeting with William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, last night.
The NBA superstar may be known as 'King James' to basketball fans worldwide, but that still doesn't make him exempt from Royal protocol, which he broke last night by putting his arm around the future Queen.
The people are rioting, the Royal Family have gone into a state of emergency and James is none the wiser after his most heinous of crimes.
Okay maybe I was overreacting just a bit. No one really cares about 'arm around the waist-gate' (we really need to come up with a better name for it) at all except for the Upper Class who i'm sure are choking on their triangle cucumber sandwiches upon hearing the news.
Oh and there's some people who are self-proclaimed 'Etiquette Experts' that have gone incredibly over the top in reacting to LeBron's act of friendliness. Trust me, these are hilarious.

A man called William Hanson, who the Daily Mail are calling an expert, lambasted the 4-time MVP for his actions, condemning all Americans in the process.
"Although I am sure the Duchess of Cambridge won’t have worried about it, Mr James should not have put his arm around her.
"Americans are much more tactile than we Brits and this is another example of an American being too touchy feely with British royalty. You’d have think they’d have learned by now."
No Big Deal
Mr Hanson is being ridiculous. We Brits don't care that LBJ touched our future Queen, i'm sure the Duchess herself had absolutely no problem with it, and her husband assumedly felt much the same way.
During the post-game meeting, James gifted the Royal Couple a Cavs jersey for baby George, a full size shirt for the Duke himself, as well as a selection of cupcakes from Baker Boulevard, a bakery in LeBron's hometown of Akron, OH.
James revealed how thrilled he was to meet the pair after the game.
“Of course, they’ve done other things. Went to the White House as well,” James said. “But for them to take time out of their schedule and come here, it’s their first time watching a (NBA) basketball game. It was honor that I would be that guy they decided that they wanted to watch. It’s pretty cool.”
So there it is. LeBron put his arm around Kate, breaking royal protocol in the process. Nobody is really bothered by it except those looking to be outraged and angered. The Cavs beat the Nets comfortably and all go home happy.
