Charles Woodson has revealed that he would love Jim Harbaugh to become the new head coach of Michigan, rather than the Oakland Raiders.
Woodson is a graduate of Michigan and he would like the Wolverines to make a play for Harbaugh, who is also linked with the head coaching position at the Oakland Raiders for next season.
But Raiders' cornerback Woodson feels that Michigan would be the perfect fit for Harbaugh, and he feels like he's the man who can turn around Michigan's ailing football programme.
“If the choice was out there, it would definitely be Michigan," Woodson explained. "As a guy that played there, I think the fans would love it, I think it would be great for recruiting and all of that.
"Just to have a guy that’s proven, he’s won everywhere he’s been as a coach and I don’t think it would be any different if he went to Michigan. I would say ‘yeah.’ Go Blue.”

Harbaugh's future is up in the air
Jim Harbaugh's future at the San Francisco 49ers is somewhat up in the air after an underwhelming season thus far for the five-time Super Bowl winners.
Harbaugh had led the 49ers to three consecutive NFC Championship Games in his first three years in the head coaching role of the Niners, which included one Super Bowl loss, but this season has been extremely disappointing with the franchise currently sitting on a 7-6 record.
49ers personnel have previously stated privately that they think a lot of coaches can win with the San Francisco outfit right now. Those comments leaked out before the start of the season, and the pressure has been on ever since that day. Rumors suggest that Harbaugh is destined for Oakland Raiders, but we'll have to wait and see on that one.
