Aaron Ramsey struck one of the goals of the season in the Champions League last night as his left-footed rocket fired past the helpless Sinan Bolat in the Galatasaray goal.

As Arsenal cruised to a 4-1 win in Istanbul, Ramsey was the man of the moment as his brace helped the club put their nightmare defeat against Stoke City this past weekend behind them. 

And, unsurprisingly, there were a number of tweets from various people after the wonder goal...

Former Norwegian footballer Jan Aage Fjortoft, meanwhile, produced one of the tweets on the night as he claimed Aarron Ramsey was the best thing to come out of Wales since Catherine Zeta-Jones...

England legend Gary Lineker certainly enjoyed the goal despite being a little late to the party...

Arsenal's official Twitter account, meanwhile, even highlighted the fact that some Galatasaray fans stood up to applaud the wonderful goal.

Ramsey's teammate Lukas Podolski, who also found the net on two occasions last night, took to Twitter after the game as he thanked the fans after a great win for his side.

And, we will finish with the man himself...the Welshman admitted that his second goal of the evening was his best yet, and pointed out the great facials of his Arsenal teammate Yaya Sanogo.
