When Brock Lesnar ended the Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania XXX earlier this year, the WWE Universe were left shocked and confused.
This is a feeling still felt by many followers of WWE as Lesnar has been heavily criticised along with the industry itself, for becoming a part-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Those wondering when we will next see Lesnar will therefore be pleased to know that he is scheduled to make an appearance on next week's episode of Monday Night Raw in order to promote his rumoured title defence match at the Royal Rumble in January next year.
It is safe to say that WWE have not made any indication of a Lesnar return at TLC this month, so the next pay-per-view event must surely be when we are to see The Beast put his title on the line.
Though nothing has yet been confirmed, it is interesting to question who will be Lesnar's opponent, should a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship take place at the end of January in 2015.

Roman Reigns seems to be the most likely candidate to face Lesnar for the belt at WrestleMania XXXI, with winning the Slammy Award this week on Monday Night Raw for 'Superstar of the year', only further implying that he is the WWE Superstar who deserves a title shot most.
In addition to seeing Lesnar make a long-awaited return on Monday night, we can also look forward to seeing Triple H as well as Chris Jericho, who it has been said will be appearing as the guest General Manager, following the demise of The Authority at Survivor Series.
Though WWE has left its fans guessing at what exactly a Brock Lesnar appearance means when they are so few and far between, we can hope that the one he makes next week is surely not just a reminder of his existence.
With the company having been criticised for a number of reasons this year, it needs to keep its followers excited and interested, and a hint at what Brock Lesnar will be involved with next year may well be what WWE needs to end 2014 successfully.
