Chelsea v Sporting Lisbon: Live teamsheet

Chelsea have named a much changed team as they look to finish their Champions League campaign with a flourish against Sporting Lisbon this evening.

The Blues have already wrapped up top spot in Group G from the likes of Schalke and Lisbon, meaning they can afford to rest of their biggest stars ahead of the busy festive schedule in the Premier League.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho confirmed well before the match that Eden Hazard, John Terry and Willian had all ben given the game off to rest and recuperate. The same doesn't go for Diego Costa, who starts the match in order to find his match sharpness for a critical part of the season.

The absence of Hazard and Willian gives Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah a chance to show what they can do. Youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek is on the bench as expected, but will likely get a run out later on.

Both teams go into the game in good form, although Chelsea suffered their first loss of the season against Newcastle at the weekend. Sporting have won their last four games on the spin, but will be without Nani for tonight's game.
