Brock Lesnar, as the WWE's current Heavyweight Champion, is there to be targeted by the great and the good of the wrestling world.
As well as the obvious candidates vying for the title belt who currently comprise the WWE's main roster it seems that there is at least one former WWE Superstars who fancies his chances against the Beast Incarnate.
Laying down the challenge
Speaking in a recent interview with Journey of a Frontman, former member of The Dudley Boyz/Team 3D, Bully Ray, has thrown down his challenge to Lesnar - claiming he is more than ready to do what John Cena couldn't, and defeat the powerhouse wrestler.
"I tweeted last week that 'I'm the 1 who can defeat the 1 who put the 1 in 21-1'," Ray said in a clear reference to Lesnar's defining WrestleMania victory over The Undertaker which ended the latter's historic streak.
Bully Ray, who spent time in TNA as well as WWE, went on to discuss a possibly feud with Lesnar.
"I'm confident in my ability in the ring and I'm confident in my ability on the mic. So from a physical standpoint, Bully versus Brock Lesnar would be very interesting."

Bully Ray spent several successful years in the WWE at the turn of the century, swaying between face and heel on his way to a number of high profile tag-team match ups as part of the Dudley Boyz - winning several title belts along the way.
Despite not appearing in the promotion since 2005 he seems keen to make a come back, citing the backing of fans on social media as a motivating factor.
"I’m hearing a lot of people clamouring for me to go back to the WWE to try to see if Bully Ray could do something over there.
" If I were to go back to WWE either as Bully Ray by myself or to finish out my career with D-Von as Team 3D, I think both things could work.
"I think the fans, first and foremost, want to see it. They have been very active on Twitter and social media saying “We want Bully Ray in WWE” or “We want Team 3D back in WWE”.
Now aged 43 any feud between himself and Brock Lesnar would see two veterans collide. While it may not be the most athletic of contests the duo's ability to control a crowd and dominate the ring would certainly make it an intriguing encounter.
What do you think? Do you want to see Bully Ray back in the WWE? Could he, or someone else, be the man to take on Lesnar...
