Randy Orton finished filming The Condemned 2 weeks ago and is set for his WWE return this weekend.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was last seen being "taken out" by The Authority in order to cover for his absence during the filming of the sequel to Steve Austin's hit film.
This is set to lead on from where it left off but Orton can't extract revenge on The Authority because they are now out of power, so he is going to go after the man he had many spats with whilst he was a part of the WWE power group, Seth Rollins.
Seth has an important grudge match with John Cena this Sunday, a match that could see Rollins cost Cena his chance to win back the world championship from Brock Lesnar. The tables match is thought to be the main event for Sunday's pay-per-view and this is where the Viper is set to strike.
Orton looks likely to cost Seth the chance to beat Cena fair and square and gain revenge on the man who took away the safety and security of The Authority from him.
Many expected Orton to return at last month's Survivor Series and force The Authority out of power himself, but instead WCW legend Sting made his debut and his the death drop on Triple H securing the same result.
Orton's return was then put on the back burner whilst the TLC event was built up. This way the youngest world champion in WWE history can slot back into his feud with Seth and John can continue on to face Brock Lesnar and their rivalry will come to a natural ending.
With the Road to Wrestlemania right around the corner WWE will be setting up the rivalries ready for them all to come to a head on the grandest stage of them all and if they find a way for Seth and Randy to be able to contain the momentum in their rivalry until Wrestlemania 31 then Rollins could be on course for his first singles match at the Showcase of the Immortals.
Rollins still has an important breifcase in his possession though and who knows when Mr Money in the Bank will decide to cash in.
