CM Punk has caused a lot of controversy in the last few weeks after he made some serious accusations against Vince McMahon and the WWE.
Punk made the explosive statements on Colt Cabana's The Art of Wrestling Podcast last month, and subsequently followed up his double appearance on the podcast by making a huge switch to UFC last weekend.
It's safe to say that Punk has been in the news this past week, with the former wrestler even the sixth most searched term in the US last Saturday.
Fans across the globe have reacted to Punk's decision to move to UFC, with many WWE fans labelling the decision as the ultimate betrayal of WWE.
Stone Cold speaks out
Stone Cold Steve Austin added his thoughts on the matter this past week on his podcast, with the WWE legend revealing that it is only now that he's coming to realize that Punk and Vince McMahon's relationship is as non-existent as it's every been.

Stone Cold revealed that he had wanted to try and act as some kind of mediator between the two in hope that they could sort out their differences, but the legendary wrestler came to realize soon enough that the idea was only a fantasy.
"I talked about maybe bridging the gap with CM Punk and Vince, and then he goes and does the deal with UFC. It would appear to me that they’re way further apart than I thought they were," Stone Cold revealed this week. "I knew things were bad and I hadn’t talked to CM Punk, so it’s going to be interesting."
Punk will be a success in UFC
Steve Austin added that he believes that Punk will be a huge success in UFC in terms of box office figures, but he questions whether he can cut it.
"I think he [Punk] rolls with some [UFC] guys and it’s a very big passion of his. I wish him all the luck in the world, and I know they’ll do a hell of a big buy rate. Match him up with someone his skill level, it’s hard to gauge what his skill level is though," added Austin.
