Giggs is currently working as the number two at Old Trafford under Louis van Gaal, but the 50-year-old Dutchman is in no doubt that former wing wonder has the capabilities to make it in the top position.

AC Milan have dismissed speculation that Fernando Torres could return to the Premier League in January.

The Spanish striker was tipped to return to Chelsea and then be sold, but the Italian giants insist they will be keeping a player who cost £50million.

And finally, Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has come in for some criticism following his ‘paneka’ penalty in the 4-1 win over Newcastle at the weekend.

The Spanish playmaker scored twice in the Emirates Stadium romp, but TV pundit Richard Keys described it as disrespectful against the young Toon keeper.
