WWE CEO Vince McMahon will be worried by reports coming out of the organization today regarding a "silent protest" undertaken by a number of top WWE Superstars at TLC.
Per MetsFan4Ever, a well-known Reddit user with links to sources backstage at WWE, McMahon's trusted right hand man John Cena was forced today to step in and call a talent meeting in a desperate attempt to dispel concerns.
The issue causing so much unrest for some of the leading wrestlers in the WWE? Well according to the same report many stars are unhappy with the handling of the main roster at present and, in light of the hugely successful recent NXT Takeover event, wish to see Triple H take over full control of the top billed shows.
With further reports this past week highlighting a growing divide between main roster talent and the NXT generation it certainly looks like the WWE locker room is a tense place to be right now.
Cena moved to quell unrest after he learnt of the 'silent protest' plot undertaken on Sunday evening.
The TLC event was far from unanimously praised and it seems that that was exactly the intention of some of the Superstars seen in the ring - with an unnamed group purposefully under-performing to bring the current creative issues to a head.

- Brock Lesnar's opponent for Royal Rumble title match confirmed
- "There have been rumblings that some talent knew they couldn't top NXT so in a silent protest in favor of Triple H, some superstars were described "mailing in" their matches last night. Many are in favor of Triple H and what he has done with the NXT product and feel it is time for Triple H to take the lead on the main roster."
John Cena has long been seen as the leader of the WWE locker room and although he currently doesn't hold the title belt he is clearly continuing that role in the absence of Brock Lesnar.
As yet there are no indications to the outcome of the urgently called meeting ahead of tonight's RAW show in Detroit but it certainly seems like Cena left no one in any doubt as to what was expected moving forward.
The tone of the talent meeting was said to be "forceful yet calm" and John Cena is believed to have stressed that a silent protest was not the way to move things forward. Instead the superstar urged his fellow wrestlers to re-double their efforts in the ring.
