Tottenham welcome back Kyle Naughton for the visit of Newcastle in the quarter final of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night.
Naughton has missed the last five games with a heel injury picked up after the win over Partizan Belgrade.
"Kyle is in the squad and may start or be on the bench, we need to decide, but he’s available,” Mauricio Pochettino told the club's official website.
Kyle Walker has returned for the previous two games but after missing nine months himself, it is unlikely he will face a third game in seven days. Other options are Vlad Chiriches and Eric Dier but both have looked out of place.
Elsewhere, Emmanuel Adebayor has returned after copassionate leave but needs to build up his fitness before returning to the first team.

"Ade has started to train, he’s back and now he needs to improve his condition,” Pochettino added.
Tottenham will want to avenge the 1-0 loss to Newcastle suffered at White Hart Lane earlier in the season, and the chance to play in a cup semi-final in his first season will excite Pochettino given his and his team's struggles this season.
