Michael Jordan is the best basketball player in the history of the NBA. There's absolutely no doubt that MJ is the G.O.A.T and it will take someone incredibly special to take his place.

So that's why it is so useless comparing anyone to him. Even a player like Kobe Bryant, who just passed him in the scoring list last week for third place in the all time points list.

But that didn't stop Reggie Miller, who absolutely eviscerated the LA Lakers star yesterday when asked if he was as good as Jordan.

10x Better

In an appearance on “The Dan Patrick Show” today, the Indiana Pacers Hall-of-Famer said that Jordan at his worst is “10 times better” than Bryant at his best.

"Michael Jordan on his worst day is 10 times better than Kobe Bryant on his best day. And that’s not short-changing Kobe Bryant because he gave me my lunchpail, too… Michael Jordan on his worst day I will take over Kobe Bryant on his best day."

Jordan Wins

Bryant may well have the edge on Jordan in career points, but Jordan has 10 scoring titles compared to Kobe;s two, six NBA titles to Kobe's five, 5 NBA MVP honours while Bryant has just one and also beats Bryant in Finals MVPs with 6 of them as well.

Oh, and Jordan managed it in what will be four fewer seasons.

And its not like Reggie Miller has a particular hatred of Kobe Bryant in all of this. That's because the Pacers and NBA legend has fought on the court with both of the two stars, going at it with Jordan in 1993, and duking it out with Kobe in 2002.
