When Manchester United signed Radamel Falcao from Monaco on loan in the summer, it was a transfer that had fans and pundits alike drooling with excitement and expectation.

However, three months on from the most surprising of Transfer Deadline Day signings, the Colombian is yet to replicate the form shown elsewhere in the colours of his new club.

He has spoken of his desire to remain at Old Trafford, but the club may look elsewhere if he fails to improve by the time the season comes to a close in May.
