Lesnar confirmed for a big night on RAW

It has finally happened, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar finally made his return to WWE TV this past Monday on RAW.

Lesnar had been off of our screens since losing by disqualification to John Cena at Night of Champions three months ago but made his return on Monday's show.

But just as soon as Lesnar had returned, rumours of his imminent disappearance were once again very prominent.

January 19th 2015 will host the final episode of RAW before the Royal Rumble and the official start of the road to WrestleMania.

This year's Royal Rumble will host the first title match in almost four months and will once again see Cena and Lesnar go head to head.

However the episode of RAW before the event is already shaping up to be one of the best in recent memory with four legends already being advertised for the show.

Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels have all been advertised for the show and it seemed like it was at the expense of Lesnar.

Lesnar had been top of the advertising for the night but the four legends have since dominated all listings for the event with many people speculating about Lesnar's presence.

However, the website of the American Airlines Center (where the show will be held) and now wwe.com have updated their sites to include the current champion.

It seems that the WWE Universe have had enough nights without their champion arriving and one before the first big Pay-Per-View of the year could have really hurt their ratings.

RAW's biggest show?

The night is set to host the return of one of the biggest factions in wrestling history with Hall, Hogan and Nash all members of the NWO.

It is set to be a big night with other big name stars such as Cena, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton also being advertised.

Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt are expected to be competing at the Royal Rumble for the final time and both are set to appear in the final RAW before the big event.

It could be a show that sees the members of the NWO come face to face with Lesnar once again.

A nervy encounter happened on Hulk Hogan's birthday celebrations ahead of Night of Champions and gave us a great segment to end RAW on that night.

Who knows what will happen with Lesnar in the same building as the legends once again but it is shaping up to set the bar high for RAW very early on in the year.
