Manchester United defender Luke Shaw looks set to return to first team action for the club's Boxing Day clash with Newcastle United at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail.
The full-back, who signed for the Red Devils from Southampton this past summer, hasn't featured for the side since coming off with an injury against rivals Arsenal last month.
In fact, the teenager damaged his ankle ligaments against the Gunners, but now looks to be in contention to return before the end of the year.
It appears, then, that the teenager is on the verge of making a comeback to full training as he looks to win his place back in the side at the Theatre of Dreams.
Of late, Ashley Young has slotted in at full-back, with it looking extremely likely that he will start once again as the club travel to Villa Park to take on Aston Villa tomorrow afternoon.

United will be desperate to secure all three points against Paul Lambert's side as they go in search of claiming their seventh straight Premier League victory.
Shaw, though, will have to watch from home tomorrow, but will be desperate to make an impression upon his return.
There's no doubt about it, at just 19-years-old, he looks set for an extremely bright future at Old Trafford, but will now be hoping to put his injury problems behind him.
After a steady start to his career with the Red Devils, he will no doubt be looking to kick on in 2015 as he also looks to cement his place in Roy Hodgson's England squad.
With the festive period about to begin, this latest update on Shaw will most certainly come as a major boost for Manchester United as they look to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title.
Things are starting to come together under Louis van Gaal, and the future now looks extremely bright at the club.
