New York Giants Wide Receiver Odell Beckham Jr is certainly showing his potential in his rookie year.
He's already filled in at Quarterback, showed desire to play at Cornerback, released a video of his skills as a Kicker and had arguably the best catch in history.
Beckham is one of the most feared rookies in the NFL right now and is the main bright spark in a very poor season for the Giants.
Beckham's catch against the Dallas Cowboys was what propelled him to instant fame across the league and across America.
He has since shown that he can do the same amazing catch again and again in Giants training, but has he just been beaten?
- Bad news for the Green Bay Packers as star man described as 'very blind'
- Baltimore Ravens star clashes with Barack Obama over North Korea
- Seattle Seahawks offer star player huge new deal
There are a few players in the NFL who think they can do a better catch than Beckham's but he is now facing opposition from a high schooler.
In tonight's State Championship game at the AT&T Stadium between the Argyle Eagles and Navasota Rattlers, one receiver had a great moment.
On 3rd and 9 from just over 25 yards out of the endzone, the ball went up in the air and Rattlers receiver Tren'Davian Dickson made an unbelievable catch.
from inbetween two defenders, Dickson extends his arm low to the right and somehow comes up with the catch that put Navasota up by a score.
Up with the best?
Two catches so far this year have been worthy of challenging Beckham for the catch of the year.
New England Patriots Tight-end Rob Gronkowski Miami Dolphins Safety Brent Grimes have both made incredible catches which would be the best of the best in most other NFL seasons.
Barring something spectacular in the final two weeks of the regular season these three should go down as the three best catches in the NFL this year.
As for young Dickson's effort tonight in the Texas State Championship match, it will certainly be a moment for everyone in the AT&T Stadium to remember.
A catching sight
