Arsenal will be looking to go above rivals Tottenham and further heap the pressure on Brendan Rodgers when they take on Liverpool this afternoon at Anfield.
The Gunners currently sit in seventh place in the Premier League with Spurs one place and one point ahead after their win against Burnley yesterday, and they'll be looking to re-establish their advantage over their great rivals with a win during their game in hand today.
In the process they'll also be looking to further pile on the misery before Christmas for Liverpool, who will try and get their season up and running after a terrible start. Rodgers' side go into this key game with just four wins from their last ten games, including the demoralising 3-0 defeat against Manchester United last week.
The Reds will be without Mario Balotelli, who earned himself a one-game ban for a post on Twitter that was deemed to be offensive. the Italian has apologised, but that won't do anything to help his team arrest their slump in form and challenge at the top of the table once more.
Defender Dejan Lovren is struggling to be fit in time, while both Daniel Sturridge and Glen Johnson are still sidelined.

For Arsenal, they are sweating on the fitness of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Nacho Monreal and Theo Walcott - all of whom are facing a race against time to take to the pitch.
Easing their defensive worries is the fact that Calum Chambers is available once more, but Aaron Ramsey remains a key loss, as does Jack Wilshere.
Arsenal have held the upper hand between these two in recent meetings, winning four of their last six showdown and drawing one - although Liverpool's win in that time was the huge 5-1 victory back in February.
