Roman Reigns has only been back in WWE for a few days and already he's being geared up for a massive push heading into WrestleMania 31.
The former powerhouse of The Shield has become a firm fan favorite and is set for a Royal Rumble win next month and could also be lifting the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31.
That being said, backstage word is that WWE are still doubting if Roman Reigns is ready for a push that big. He has been taking promo classes, but he showed at TLC that he was still tripping over his words and looked like he had forgot his lines at one point during the segment.
Reigns ready for the big time?
As well as this, officials think that Reigns is finding it hard to perform in longer singles matches, which means that if he doesn't improve then WWE's other top babyface could take his place.
Dean Ambrose is great in the ring and has some of the best promo skills in WWE right now, so WWE may decide that he is a better fit for The Royal Rumble winner but he doesn't fit the mould of most of WWE's top stars, which stops them wanting to push him as a top star.
Time for a change
Even though Dean and Roman have been doing so well in merchandise sales, with Dean completely selling out of most of his merchandise during the holiday season, WWE still doesn't think that either superstar is selling enough to be thought of as a top star.
Randy Orton was another option but because Randy has spent so much time on top of the company, the WWE Universe are getting bored of The Viper and even making him a face wouldn't make him more of an attraction.
This adds a little bit of an added twist to WrestleMania season because Roman has been rumored to be winning the World title for a the past few months adding Ambrose to the mixture gives the fans more excitement and allows for unpredictability.
