Wasps thrash London Irish

Sepp Blatter has been in secret talks with world football's governing body about his ongoing role as FIFA president. The 78-year-old has held discussions with a number of senior officials regarding his future despite already confirming his intention to stand in May's presidential election with a view to securing a fifth term of office. Rugby Union now and James Haskell wants to build on a dream debut at the Ricoh Arena that saw Wasps thrash London Irish 48-16 in Coventry. And finally to Cricket, where former Australia batsman Matthew Hayden has described Kevin Pietersen's ongoing England exile as ludicrous. Pietersen's central contract with the ECB was terminated in February, and his omission from England's 15-man World Cup squad which was announced on Saturday doesn't sit right with Hayden.
