Alexis Sanchez has revealed his sensitive side after a video from Arsenal's Christmas party showed the Chilean serenading Lukas Podolski with some pretty impressive piano playing.

The Gunners have benefitted from Sanchez's superior skills on the football pitch since arriving from Barcelona in the summer, forcing his way through Premier League defences to bag nine goals in the first half of the season.

However, there is some finesse to this bulldozing forward, and Podolski was the main beneficiary as he was treated to an flawless - not flawless - rendition of Richard Marx's 'Right Here Waiting'.

Social engagement

Always jumping at the chance for some social media engagement, Podolski immediately uploaded the video onto his Instagram account. It followed a flurry of pictures from the German.

Alongside the video, Podolski wrote the message, 'Was great to be serenaded by my bro Alexis! #Christmas #Alexis #Poldi #Bro #multitalented #serenaded'.

More engagement

Theo Walcott also got in on the action, posting a rare picture with his wife Mel Slade. The Gunners star is still battling his way back to fitness after a serious knee injury but found time to cut loose at the Christmas party.

He is likely to play a part in the Boxing Day clash against QPR at the Emirates.
