After 19 years in the NBA, Ray Allen looks like he has hit his last three in professional basketball.

According to reports from Brian Windhorst of ESPN, Allen is apparently considering rejecting offers from about half of all teams in the NBA in order to finally hang up his shoes at the ripe old age of 39.

Allen has been in huge demand ever since he left the Miami Heat at the end of last season. The former Celtics star had been resting up to avoid playing much of the 82-game calender and joining a real title contender halfway through this year.

The Cleveland Cavaliers had been considered the leaders in the race for Allen's signature thanks to his relationship with a certain LeBron James, but the 'Splash Brothers' over at Golden State could easily have gotten a splash Grandad beside them.

The LA Clippers, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs, Washington Wizards and Memphis Grizzlies all held an interest in the 10-time All-Star as well.
