Chelsea are close to sealing a deal for Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric according to reports.
The young striker has 28 goals to his name this term, and has been linked with both Tottenham and Leicester in the past.
However it looks as though Chelsea have swooped in and snared the 23-year-old after opening talks over the weekend. The deal appears to be moving quickly and as things stand he is set to be announced as Chelsea's first signing of the January transfer window.
The Daily Mail report that Leicester have been pushing hard and have had a deal worth around £7.9 million turned down, while they add that the player himself has decided on a move to Chelsea over the Foxes or any of his other suitors including Spurs, Juventus and AC Milan.
The next stage for Chelsea is to present an offer to Rejika which Di Marzio reports will be in the region of €8 million, and that the Blues are looking at sending him on loan - potentially to Leicester - for the rest of the season. Should all go to plan a medical should take place on January 5.
Chelsea are not expected to be busy in the January window having done much of their business in the summer by landing the likes of Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas from Atletico Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
The Blues remain at the top of the table despite dropping two points in their 1-1 draw with Southampton yesterday, with Manchester City also failing to get the win they required against Burnley despite opening up a two-goal lead early on.
Chelsea remain three points clear at the top of the Premier League from Manuel Pellegrini's side, with Manchester United seven points further back.
