Manchester United fans can rest easy in the knowledge that starlet Adnan Januzaj is no longer wanted by Paris Saint-Germain. Last year the Belgian international shot to stardom after a series of great performances for the Red Devils, and immediately he attracted interest from Laurent Blanc’s Ligue 1 winning outfit.
However, according to reports in France PSG no longer want to spend their money on him as they believe his development has stalled under Louis van Gaal. The 19-year-old has made ten appearances since the Dutchman’s appointment as boss, but has yet to produce the same sort of form as last year.
So far he's without a goal in the Premier League and questions are beginning to be asked as to wether or not he'll be content to play second fiddle to the likes of Juan Mata after his exploits during David Moyes's campaign.
In other news Van Gaal will have to consult his book of tactics once more as he confirmed he’s likely to be without up to five star players for the clash against Stoke City on New Years Day. Angel Di Maria, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind and Marouane Fellaini all have problems, whilst Ander Herrera is also a doubt.
Following the removal of Antonio Valencia from the fray at White Hart Lane Van Gaal once more bemoaned the hectic Christmas schedule made for teams in the Premier League, with United having been forced to play Tottenham less than 48 hours after their victory over Newcastle United.
