AC Milan are moving in the right direction under Filippo Inzaghi but are still sorely in need of reinforcements if they are to dethrone Juventus as the leading superpowers of Serie A anytime soon.

They may currently lie in seventh in the table, but are just two points adrift of third-placed Lazio who are on course to secure the final Champions League qualifying slot.

However, when compared to the Old Lady their squad is weak with little options, and their lack of strength in depth could be their Achilles heel when the table is finalised at the end of the season in May.
