Cole Miller on Punk
UFC star Cole Miller has put his neck on the line to suggest that CM Punk will ‘kick somebody’s ass’ when he makes his debut for the company, despite the general consensus being that he’ll struggle. Punk joined the UFC after leaving the WWE earlier this year amidst dubious circumstances, but Miller believes he’s going to shock plenty of people when he eventually makes his bow.
Meanwhile Michael Schumacher’s manager has insisted the F1 legend faces a long road to recovery following the skiing accident which left him fighting for his life. The German driver has yet to regain the power of speech but has started to recognise those closest to him.
Beckham's new franchise
Elsewhere David Beckham is set to confirm on Wednesday that he has chosen to buy a Major League Soccer franchise in Miami, though he still needs new partners to fund the stadium build. Beckham and his fellow investors are believed to be using the time between now and then to increase the support behind the huge project.
