WWE star pulled from go-home Raw before Royal Rumble

Published 21 Comments

Possibly the most negative news surrounding WWE and its Superstars around the Christmas period came from the reports of Kevin Nash's domestic dispute with his teenage son.

Bad publicity

The altercation between the two family members is said to have taken place on Christmas Eve and led to the arrest of both Nash and his son.

Looking ahead to the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw in January prior to the Royal Rumble, Nash was originally scheduled to appear alongside Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan as part of a New World Order reunion.

The reunion however will now be a man down, as Kevin Nash will not be on the episode of Raw, despite still being on WWE's event page for the show.

Damning report

As Wrestling Inc reported:

"As noted earlier, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels and Hulk Hogan were scheduled for the RAW Royal Rumble go-home show on January 19, 2015 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

WWE announced this week that they suspended Nash’s legends contract until Nash’s domestic dispute with his son “is resolved.” Despite the suspension, Nash still appears on WWE’s event page for the show, as well as on the official American Airlines Center website.

A WWE official confirmed to me this morning that despite Nash still appearing on advertising for the event, he has been pulled and will not be appearing on the show."

As yet there has been nothing reported of WWE pulling the nWo appearance altogether because of Nash's absence. Though as Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan have done no wrong, they should realistically still be scheduled to appear on the episode of the show which airs in late January.

Guest hosts

Elsewhere in other news relating to Monday Night Raw, the WWE Universe can look forward to Edge and Christian appearing as guest hosts of the show this coming Monday night.

Though Christian is still a WWE employee, he has seldom been making appearances of late so seeing him alongside Edge will mean we are able to see one of the greatest pairings in WWE history reunite.

This should surely mean WWE are able to finish 2014 on a high and with a successful and exciting final edition of Monday Night Raw for the year.
