When Brock Lesnar was announced as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the idea of him holding the belt as a part-time Superstar didn't exactly delight the WWE Universe.
There have however been recent developments in just how long Lesnar will remain the holder of the biggest title in WWE.
In a complete contrast to what Lesnar's future has been rumored to be, UFC President Dana White has claimed to have had no contact with Brock Lesnar about a UFC return therefore or anything else related to the sport.
This news comes from John Morgan of MMA Junkie, who tweeted the following: "Quick text from @danawhite regarding latest “Brock to @ufc” reports: “I haven’t talked to Brock." "
But with all of the hype there has been in recent weeks surrounding the likelihood of other WWE Superstars having a plausible WWE Title shot, as well as Lesnar's keenness to return to UFC, you would have to assume White's statement is not true.
- WWE unhappy with Diva's recent actions
- Star wrestler ruled out until WrestleMania season after injury
- WWE force fans to choose between three big stars
In addition, as Dave Meltzer reported following Lesnar's appearance on the December 15th edition of Monday Night Raw, The Beast was looking a fair amount more leaner than usual.
Unsurprisingly, his different physique ignited reports that he had lost weight in order to fall inside the Heavyweight weight limit which applies for his MMA return.
Lesnar's WWE contract is said to run until WrestleMania XXXI in March next year, which prompts the idea that an appearance on The Grandest Stage Of Them All could well be his last for the industry, or at least for the near future.
Having already caused the biggest shock in WWE of 2014 by defeating The Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania XXX, it's safe to say that Lesnar, should he be making his final WWE appearance next year, will certainly go out with some impact.
Lesnar would of course not be the only WWE wrestler to have made a move to UFC in recent time, with none other than CM Punk announcing the decision to do so earlier this month.
Ultimately, whether Brock Lesnar stays at WWE and has an on-going feud with a fellow superstars such as Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Title or makes his hugely-anticipated return to UFC, it will be interesting to find out what decision he chooses to make.
