Though The Undertaker's emphatic streak may have ended this year, his next opponent is still a hot topic of discussion for all WWE fans.
Brock Lesnar caused the biggest shock of the year in WWE at WrestleMania XXX when he defeated The Dead Man, but this has not damaged the reputation of the much admired wrestler that The Undertaker is.
With this in mind, the latest developments within WWE have suggested a very interesting opponent for the 49-year-old on The Grandest Stage of Them All next year.
As reported by PWS, WWE are apparently concerned that they may hurt Bray Wyatt by having him lose to Dean Ambrose during their ongoing feud of late.
Their plan therefore is to keep Wyatt strong in preparation for the rumored match between him and The Undertaker at WWE's biggest event, should the bout become set in stone. A series of wins against someone who is as big in WWE at the moment as Dean Ambrose is unquestionably impressive.

A win against The Undertaker however is even more of a feat, and it will be interesting to see where WWE goes with the result of this supposed match-up, with the Streak no longer being the priority of the match.
Also rumored to battle The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXXI next year was Sting. Many believe that the legend's first WWE match was to come against a fellow idol of WWE, setting up what several members of the WWE Universe have called their 'dream match'.
Ultimately however, it seems the recent suggestions of a Wyatt-Undertaker match-up seem the more likely, and a battle between an experienced, older wrestler and a newer, younger WWE Superstar will doubtlessly meet the expectations of the WWE Universe.
Elsewhere in other news regarding the biggest event in WWE, it has been said that current part-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will face Dean Ambrose's previous fellow member of The Shield; Roman Reigns.
Reports suggest that Reigns is set to shine at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event next month, before continuing to prove his worth before the eventual title match on March 29th.
It has also been said that Brock Lesnar looks likely to be making a return to UFC, prompting the idea that the WWE World Championship belt will soon change hands - which could well be those of Roman Reigns.
How do you feel about these potential matches for WrestleMania XXXI, WWE fans?
