The final episode of RAW in 2014 turned out to be one that has reshaped the entire landscape of the WWE.
Several stars have returned, some have made their debuts and titles have now got new owners ahead of the new year.
Despite the return of Bad News Barrett and the announcement that Daniel Bryan will be returning at the Royal Rumble, there was another return that has shocked the WWE Universe.
As RAW came to a close, Mr Money in the Bank Seth Rollins found himself in a situation where he held hall of famer Edge as a hostage to blackmail John Cena.
What would Rollins want from Cena? His title match at the Royal Rumble? No, Rollins told Cena he would cripple Edge if he didn't bring back the Authority.

- WWE makes another huge Raw mistake
Out of respect for his friend and perhaps his greatest adversary, Cena brought back Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to power.
In one of the biggest endings to RAW we have seen this year, 2015 is now set to be one of the most controversial years yet.
With the return of the Authority, the question becomes now, what will happen to the WWE in the next three months on the Road to WrestleMania XXXI.
A step backwards?
RAW tonight took two large steps backwards in my eyes and the Authority were the spearhead of that.
Even though the running of the shows has been sporadic since the Authority were banished at Survivor Series, bringing them back basically reverts the WWE to what we've already seen.
When the Authority were banished, it left a lot of opportunities that the WWE could have explored to change up their product.
However the return of the Authority is a sign that they have basically just ignored them all and elected to return to what they already had.
Arguably a second backward step they could be yet to take revolves around the revelation from former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan.
Bryan has confirmed that he will compete in next year's Royal Rumble and if he should emerge victorious, they're setting themselves up to lose audiences.
If Bryan wins the Rumble and goes on to headline WrestleMania and emerge victorious, they will be replicating the events of last year.
That is a risk that could see some fans begin to get bored with the story lines and should that happen, who knows what they could turn to in desperation.
