The final RAW of 2014 was arguably one of the most controversial and surprising shows of the year and certainly had more impact than most.
There were returns, hostage situations, a big debut and a announcements that have already shaped 2015 up to be an interesting year.
The final RAW of the year came from Washington D.C and it was an unbelievable night with so many of the biggest names on screen.
Edge and Christian were the special guest general managers of the night and they made some huge matches for the show, but the biggest moment from the dynamic duo came at the end of the show.
They hosted the first ever 'Cutting Edge Peep Show' with their special guest Seth Rollins who also invited his friends, Big Show, Brock Lesnar and even John Cena.
- RAW's big ending has taken the WWE back in time
- Daniel Bryan returns and reveals some earth shattering news
- Edge and Christian send a big message about the future of WWE
Rollins tried to call Cena out but he was reluctant, only when Rollins and Big Show had Edge on the verge of paralysis did Cena come running to his aid.
Rollins used the situation and blackmailed Cena into bringing the Authority back, which he did meaning that 2015 will have a very interesting beginning.
The night had started so well for Cena who had come face to face with Brock Lesnar and was just seconds away from delivering the AA to the beast incarnate who managed to escape.
After the Authority, the biggest returning superstar was Daniel Bryan who had already tweeted an ominous message to the WWE Universe.
Bryan returned and made the shocking reveal that he will be returning to action in the 2015 Royal Rumble.
Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns
One of the matches made by Edge and Christian early in the show would pit two of the former Shield members against each other.
In the match that should of happened at Night of Champions, Reigns won by disqualification after the Big Show attacked the power house.
Show threw Reigns over the announce table and then tipped the entire table on top of him and it took a while for Reigns to get back to his feet.
The Miz and Damien Mizdow vs the Usos (Tag Team Title match)
We now have new tag team champions going into 2015 as the Usos began the Miz and Mizdow's night on a bad path by defeating them for the titles.
The Miz was the man largely involved as he pushed Mizdow into the path of a superkick, but when he received a double superkick from the brothers, he suffered the winning pinfall.
The Miz and Damien Mizdow vs the Ascension
Following the loss to the Usos, the Miz demanded a rematch from Edge and Christian who gave them a second match but not against the Usos.
Instead they faced the Ascension who were making their RAW debut tonight and looked very impressive as they got the win.
Dolph Ziggler vs Rusev
The second match made by Edge and Christian at the start of the show was a champion vs champion clash between the Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and the US Champion Rusev.
Ziggler won after Rusev got disqualified when he refused to listen to the referee's five count, Rusev then locked Ziggler in the accolade and refused to let go.
Ryback eventually came to the rescue and chased the Bulgarian brute away and even saw Ziggler leave the ring.
Ryback then gave an impassioned speech about his time in the WWE and how his feud with Rusev wasn't about USA vs Russia, but about his hunger to win.
Cesaro came to the ring and delivered another speech about how he had been let down in 2014.
He then challenged anyone in the back to prove that they're bigger than he is and we got to see yet another big return.
Out came the long absent Bad News Barrett to face the Swiss Superman and get a comeback win as he now appears to be a fan favourite.
Nikki Bella vs Natalya
Nikki Bella got the win over Natalya as she responded to last week's big attack by Natalya and threw the Canadian's big championship credentials into doubt.
Jack Swagger vs Luke Harper
In a match of two relative powerhouses, Jack Swagger took on Luke Harper with the latter getting the win despite both men showing impressive feats of strength.
