The 'Next Zlatan Ibrahimovic' could join Liverpool in the January transfer window, according to the Express.
Valmir Berisha, who is just 18-years-old, looks set for stardom after proving his credentials at the Under-17 World Cup, and now it appears that the Swedish forward could make a move to the Premier League next month.
Rejected Premier League interest
The youngster, who is currently plying his trade at Italian outfit Roma, has endured a torrid time since moving to the Serie A at the start of the year after initially rejecting a move to the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham.
In fact, it was even suggested that Liverpool attempted to bring the youngster to Anfield in January transfer window of this year, however they lost out to the Italian outfit.
Now, though, they look set to reignite their interest in the youngster as they look to improve in the attacking department ahead of the second half of the season.
It remains to be seen, however, as to whether they will make their move for the teenager in the upcoming market, but Reds fans will certainly be hoping for additions in 2015.
Improvement is needed
That's because the strikers at Anfield have all endured difficult campaigns under Brendan Rodgers this term. After Luis Suarez departed the club this past summer, Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert arrived on Merseyside, but have failed to take their opportunities to impress.
Both strikers have struggled for goals and have even been kept out of the starting line-up by winger Raheem Sterling of late.
Daniel Sturridge, meanwhile, who was so impressive last season, has struggled with injury throughout the course of the season, but will be desperate to prove his fitness in the near future as the Reds go in search of climbing the Premier League table.
Rodgers and Co. will, however, be in great spirits after the club beat Swansea City 4-1 at Anfield last night. They will now be hoping to continue their good run of form when they play host to Leicester City on New Year's Day.
