Manchester United could complete the permanent signing of Radamel Falcao in April, according to the Daily Mail.
This is contrary to previous reports, that had suggested the Red Devils were set to make a decision over the player's future over the coming days.
Falcao, of course, is currently on loan at United from French based outfit Monaco, and has started to prove his credentials of late.
Despite a slow start to the season, the Colombian hit-man has improved of late, and was on hand to score United's equalising goal at the Britannia stadium against Stoke City yesterday afternoon.
There's no doubt about it, if Falcao can maintain his fitness, he will prove quite the asset for Louis van Gaal at the Theatre of Dreams as he goes in search of goals.

And, with it now appearing that the Dutch boss has until April to decide what the future holds for the striker, the United boss has more than enough time to assess his options before splashing the cash.
Falcao certainly won't come cheap, however, with many reports revealing that the Red Devils will have to spend as much as £44 million to keep him on.
However, if the Colombian can continue to progress over the coming weeks and months, then Van Gaal will surely press ahead with the deal.
After three starts in a week for the forward, it remains to be seen as to whether he will feature in the club's FA Cup third round showdown with League One outfit Yeovil Town on Sunday.
The Red Devils will head into the game hoping to avoid an embarrassing defeat after previously being knocked out of the Capital One Cup at the hands of lower league opposition earlier on in this campaign.
Youngster James Wilson will no doubt start in attack, with Van Gaal set to make a number of changes for the clash.
