2014 brought us the first ever WWE appearance by the wrestling legend Sting at Survivor Series.
2015 however is set to give us even more from the Icon as every WWE fans prepares to witness his rumoured one and only match in the company at WrestleMania XXXI.
However Sting hasn't been on our screens since he cost the Authority their power at Survivor Series in November.
Since then the Authority have returned to power and the fans have continued to ask when we will next see the Franchise.
We have learned that he has signed one to make a total of six appearances with his cameo at Survivor Series being the first.
- Seth Rollins sent a big message from a WWE Hall of Famer
- WWE set to make top superstar a heel ahead of WrestleMania 31
- Top 5: WWE stars set for a big 2015
So the question comes, when will be the next one?
Personally I don't think we're far away from it and that it will come at the Royal Rumble at the end of this month.
Much like his appearance at Survivor Series however, I think it'll revolve around Mr Money in the Bank Seth Rollins but could go one of two ways.
One last entrant?
With Rollins not really involved in a feud other than Cena who already has a match for the Rumble, I believe Mr Money in the Bank will enter the Rumble match itself.
With J&J Security barely leaving his side, I can see Rollins and his hired help and perhaps some more Authority members getting involved and trying to win the match for Rollins.
If Rollins is there after the final entrant has come out, I wouldn't be surprised to see it come down to him against a star of the likes of Roman Reigns or Daniel Bryan.
As the face is being beaten down by the Authority, enter Sting to once again ruin the Authority's day and give the Rumble one of the most memorable finishes ever.
Potential cash in?
John Cena will be challenging for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Rumble and will be taking on Brock Lesnar for the fourth time in his career.
The two last fought for the title at Night of Champions back in September and on that occasion, Rollins cost Cena the match and tried to cash in his Money in the Bank contract.
Could the same be set to happen at the Rumble but instead of Cena thwarting Rollins, could it in fact be Sting who once again foils the Authority's plans?
Since Lesnar came out on the stage with Triple H and Stephanie on RAW, this does seem unlikely and that it may happen in the Royal Rumble match instead.
Either way I feel that Sting could be set to be the headline following the first big Pay-Per-View of the year and kick off the Road to WrestleMania with a bang.
