Real Madrid are ready to sell defender Raphael Varane to Manchester United or Chelsea in this January transfer window, according to the Express.
It has been reported that the Spanish giants are willing to accept an offer of £20 million from either of the Premier League duo as they look to move youngster Nacho up the pecking order at the club.
Ready to sell?
As well as bringing through the talented starlet, Carlo Ancelotti is also ready to hand Pepe a new deal with the club, meaning they are now willing to let Varane depart this month.
Varane, who is a regular for the French national side, is recognised as one of the leading centre-backs in world football, but has failed to hold down a starting role in La Liga over the course of the past couple of years.
And now, with the player looking to star on a regular basis, it appears that he could be on the move to England's elite division sooner rather than later.

It remains to be seen, however, as to whether Manchester United or Chelsea will make a move for his services before the close of this window, but it appears that they could yet go head-to-head for his signature.
United in need
There's no doubt about it, Manchester United are in need of improvement in the defensive department after losing the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra last summer.
This season, under Louis van Gaal, the likes of Jonny Evans, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo have all failed to maintain their fitness and struggled to find top form throughout the campaign so far. Varane, then, would no doubt improve them at the back as the club go in search of long term success.
Chelsea, meanwhile, already have an array of defensive talent, with the likes of John Terry, Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma all plying their trade at Stamford Bridge. It would certainly prove difficult for the Frenchman to become a regular at the Blues, but he may well want to work with Mourinho once again.
