Wrestling superstar Chris Jericho has announced that his full-time wrestling career is officially over.
Jericho was interviewed by Slam Wrestling's Bob Kapur recently, and in the honest and frank interview, the wrestler revealed his plans for the future.
The superstar has been back and forth from the WWE in recent times, but when Jericho goes back he always goes back full-time. This, however, is going to change.
Jericho announces huge decision
“I’m going back in January and February to just do live events — no TV, just house shows. (To do only live events) was my choice," wrestlingnews.co reported.
This is an interesting decision by Chris Jericho and it seems like a move that will go down well with some diehard wrestling fans.

Currently, WWE is suffering from somewhat of a part-time wrestling epidemic. WWE Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar has been rarely available for shows during his reign.
Jericho will also be a part-time wrestler when he comes back this month, but the superstar sees himself in a different light to that of Brock Lesnar.
"I had some time off (between Fozzy tours), and I thought it would be fun to go back (on that schedule). It’s like I’m the anti-Brock Lesnar," Jericho continued.
How long can he wrestle for?
Although the majority of the WWE Universe will be glad that Jericho is taking his time out again to go and do house shows around the world for WWE again this year, Jericho knows that there will be those fans who will be disgruntled to hear that Jericho will not be on TV.
“I know that some fans would like to just seem me wrestle until I explode in a puff of dust — that won’t happen. I think everybody knows that wrestling is less and less of my life, and that my days of being a full-time wrestler (are over).
"But as long as I feel that I can still contribute, and can still perform at the highest level that I’ve set for myself, then I’ll go back from time to time.”
