We are just weeks away from the 2015 Royal Rumble and the WWE has taken a bit of a turn for the worst.

The Authority has returned to power and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar has also emerged back on our screens.

Daniel Bryan has returned and will surely be aiming towards an exact repeat of the events of WrestleMania XXX from last year.

Many within the WWE Universe appeared very unhappy to see the Authority return to power less than two months after being dethroned at Survivor Series.

However with WrestleMania just three months away, the fans have sent a clear message that the company is going in the right direction.

Forbes have been looking at tickets for the Royal Rumble and surprisingly when you look at the secondary market, they are the highest for the event in five years.

With an average price of $518.28 on ticket selling site TiqIQ it makes this year's Royal Rumble the most expensive PPV since 2010.

Averaging over $100 higher than tickets for WrestleMania XXIX held at MetLife Stadium, this years Rumble should be one to remember.

Philadelphia ready for a big night

This years Royal Rumble has only had two matches confirmed for the event right now but the two matches are set to reshape the course of the WWE.

With John Cena set to challenge Lesnar for the title once again this will likely be their final battle as Cena attempts to go into WrestleMania as the champion.

The only other match confirmed for the night is the Royal Rumble match itself which has earned a lot of hype this year.

Already confirmed as in are two of the biggest names in the company right now, Roman Reigns and the competitive return of Daniel Bryan.

Bryan was out for a large majority of 2014 and will be making his long awaited return at the Rumble with many fans expecting him to win the big match.

Randy Orton is also rumoured to be returning that night and the wrestling legend Sting is also rumoured to be making an appearance.

Who knows what will happen on the night but we do know that people are seemingly willing to part with large amounts of money in order to be in attendance.
