Given the way he was gazing at the Intercontinental Championship belt on Raw last night, you could see how much the title meant to Dolph Ziggler.
In a match set up by The Authority, Dolph Ziggler was to put his Intercontinental Title on the line against a fellow multiple-time holder of the belt; Wade Barrett.
In a well-balanced match, it was clear that the victory could go either way, but after just a few minutes Dolph Ziggler managed to counter Barrett's Side Slam and pin him for what appeared to be the win.
Clearly irritated by the way Ziggler went about winning the match, Englishman Barrett continued to attack Ziggler after the bell rang, despite pleas for him to stop from the official.
With Ziggler down and grasping his battered shoulder, Kane's music hit as he came out to announce that The Authority members 'forgot' to mention that the match was actually two out of three falls, much to the delight of Bad News Barrett.

Given the beating he had already endured, Barrett was able to throw Ziggler around like a rag doll, meaning it took him just seconds to pin the 34-year-old and keep the score square with one fall each.
Barrett was understandably still in control from here on in, but the crowd were backing Ziggler to fight back and defend his title.
Despite managing to kick out of the Winds of Change and producing excellent counters against Barrett's moves, a Superkick to Kane left Ziggler off balance and he headed straight into a Bull Hammer, which Barrett was able to turn in to both a match and Intercontinental Title-winning pin.
Barrett celebrated his win in the ring, much to the delight of Corporate Kane who was there to applaud alongside him.
Though this result was not predictable, it could well mean a comeback is on the cards for Dolph Ziggler once again, as well as a potential rematch at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event at the end of this month.
Whichever direction WWE chooses to take the feud between these two wrestlers in, the WWE Universe can be sure to see many more entertaining occurances like the match this week on Monday Night Raw as Barrett and Ziggler remain two Superstars with incredible athletic ability and talent.
