WWE: Kane believes Roman Reigns will dominate Royal Rumble

Roman Reigns is set for a rise to prominence in the WWE this year. Rumors and speculation regarding the chances of Reigns competing for the WWE's coveted World Heavyweight Championship belt have been wild in the last few months, and it seems it's just a matter of time before the powerful wrestler claims the throne.

Many experts suggest that it will be Reigns who comes to the fore at WrestleMania 31. But for Reigns to do that, he first needs to win the 30-man Royal Rumble match later this month.

He will face stiff opposition in that match, but veteran wrestler Kane believes that it will be Reigns who takes control of WWE's Royal Rumble and steals the show.

Big things predicted for Reigns

"Kane recently did an interview with Caller.com to promote tonight’s WWE Raw broadcast in Corpus Christi," WrestleZone reported.

"During the interview, Kane spoke about the 2015 Royal Rumble PPV and noted Roman Reigns is poised for “big things” in the 30-man battle royal match." The interview can be heard on THIS LINK.

Huge injury halted progress

Reigns' rise to the top of the WWE was halted last year following a hernia injury in September which forced him to undergo emergency hernia surgery.

The superstar wrestler missed out on the Night of Champions pay-per-view last September and was forced out of action for a few months.

This proved to be a blow for WWE, with plenty of huge storylines in the works for Reigns heading into the turn of the year. Though those storylines were put to the back burner, it's still expected that Reigns will take the WWE by storm this year and take the throne that he deserves.
