Andrej Kramaric is undergoing a medical ahead of signing for Leicester City for £9 million, according to the Daily Mail.
Chelsea were also heavily linked with the Croatian but it is believed that Kramaric has opted for the Premier League's bottom club in order to get more playing time.
Leicester currently sit at the foot of the table, lacking firepower which has seen them score just 19 goals in the 20 games they have played.
Kramaric's fine goalscoring record, which has seen him score 28 goals in 31 games so far this season, will add significant strength to the Foxes frontline, something that is needed should the Foxes avoid the drop.
The striker also has two goals from four caps for Croatia and at 23 years of age has decided it is the right time to move to the world's greatest league.
It is unknown how long the contract will be for Andrej Kramaric but this is certainly a promising start to the january window for the Foxes' faithful.
Leicester had also been linked to Japanese international Shinji Okazaki, and supposedly had made an unsuccessful to snatch from Danny Ings from relegation rival Burnley.
Whether Nigel Pearson believes that Kramaric alone is enough to keep his side up is yet to be seen with the club also linked with Jermain Defoe.
