Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has revealed that he's enjoying life at Old Trafford.
Speaking exclusively to the club's official website, the Colombian hit-man, who is starting to find his feet in the Premier League, has insisted that the players and fans have helped him settle to life in England.
The striker, of course, signed for the club on a season-long loan deal from French outfit Monaco this past summer, and has started to prove his credentials at the club of late.
Falcao scored United's equalising goal against Stoke City on New Year's Day, and has insisted that he's extremely grateful for all the support that he's received since joining the club.
The striker said: I'm good. My family are comfortable. We're enjoying life in Manchester and here at the club. The people have been great with me, with my family. We're happy and very grateful.
"Right from the start, they [my colleagues] welcomed me," he revealed. "They supported me and helped me with whatever I needed. They are a really humble group of players, really decent and, well, I was taken aback by how kind they've been."
Falcao has also revealed that he celebrates with such passion after scoring a goal because he works so hard to achieve success.
He continued by saying:"I place a lot of value in the hard work that I have to put in for each goal and I know just how much effort it requires, so that's why I celebrate like that," he explained. "For me, each goal means a lot so I put a lot of passion into my celebrations.
"It's more attractive than the French league," he maintained. "Defenders are stronger and more aggressive. In a good way, you know? It's intense and, well, overall just more physical."
Message to fans
And, with the striker looking ahead to the second half of the season, he's sent a message to Manchester United fans, insisting that he will attempt to bring them happiness.
He finished by saying: "First of all, I'd say thank you so much for the way the fans have treated me," he stated. Then I'd want to wish them a happy 2015 and I hope that we can bring them some happiness."
Falcao and Co. will now be concentrating on United's upcoming clash with Southampton on Sunday as the Red Devils look to extend their unbeaten run to 12 games.
The Colombian forward will no doubt be hoping for another starting role, with the likes of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and James Wilson also in contention for Van Gaal's side.
After beating Southampton at the St Mary's last month, United will be looking to make it back-to-back victories over their rivals for the top four. Falcao, meanwhile, will be hoping to continue to impress as he goes in search of securing a permanent deal with the club.
