Kevin Strootman | AS Roma
The man widely considered Manchester United’s top transfer target, Kevin Strootman, is slowly but surely getting back to his best form following his lengthy injury lay-off.

Stephan El Shaarawy | AC Milan
Manchester United have been recently linked with a move for AC Milan’s highly-rated forward Stephan El Shaarawy, but the Italy international failed to shine against Sassuolo on Tuesday.
Started well but his influence soon begin to fade and was eventually replaced by Giampaolo Pazzini, who was powerless to prevent the Rossoneri from slumping to an embarrassing 2-1 home defeat.
Paulo Dybala | Palermo
Another impressive performance from Paulo Dybala, the man attracting considerable interest from a host of Premier League clubs, including Manchester United.
The 21-year-old Argentine striker scored two goals, one either side of half-time, in Palermo’s emphatic 5-0 victory over Cagliari - and was the visitors’ standout performer over the course of the 90 minutes.
Paul Pogba | Juventus
The former Manchester United midfielder, now valued at a massive £77 million, showed why many consider him to be the world’s best young central midfielder with an astonishing display in Juventus’s 1-1 draw with Inter Milan on Tuesday.
The France international produced a disciplined defensive display and attacked with real purpose when necessary. No wonder the Red Devils are so keen to re-sign this brilliant talent. He should never have been allowed to leave Old Trafford in the first place.
Arturo Vidal | Juventus
Chile international Arturo Vidal produced one of the assists of the season for Carlos Tevez in the opening five minutes of Juventus’s 1-1 draw with Inter Milan.
He went on to enjoy a fine match alongside Pogba and Andrea Pirlo - but couldn’t do enough to help the Old Lady secure all three points against Roberto Mancini’s side.
