There is no denying that during the time Daniel Bryan was out of action through injury, WWE was left with a huge void that was ever really filled during his absence.
Despite rumours speculating that his speech during Monday Night Raw last week was possibly going to be directed at retiring, WWE fans were delighted when the 'yes!' man's music hit and he returned to the ring.
Although his expression and delivery of his speech may have had a lot of us fooled, Bryan was actually announcing the news that near enough every WWE fan wanted to hear - he was making his WWE return at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event later this month.
Supporters of Bryan therefore, as well as a lot of the WWE Universe, will be even more excited at the most recent reports of him making appearances on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown next week.
Although it seems to be pretty much confirmed that Bryan will not be wrestling until his in-ring return at Royal Rumble, he is booked in for both WWE TV tapings next week.

As the recordings are in New Orleans, Louisiana, it will be a fitting time for Bryan to begin rebuilding his WWE tenure as it was in this location that he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in emphatic style at WrestleMania XXX last year.
It is unclear however, what Bryan's role will be in the show, although there is no denying that he will have a significant impact on the crowd reaction simply by being there.
With The Authority now reinstated, we could see the 33-year-old confront them once again, and prove he is still the people's Champion by standing up for the faces of the company as well as the fans.
Interesting to note is what Bryan's return means WWE are planning for this year's WrestleMania 31, which takes place on March 29th.
As Bryan's reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion was unfortunately cut short by injury, there is a strong indication that he could be the next WWE Superstar to challenge for the title, even though Roman Reigns has been seen to be the next person to aim for the belt for a long time.
Also scheduled to appear on what seems to be an action-packed episode of Monday Night Raw in the build up to Royal Rumble, is none other than current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar.
