During 2014 the Divas division within WWE did not exactly pick up or change in any huge way, much in the way it has stayed the same for several years.
Ultimately, it is difficult to argue with the thought that the Divas division now, despite the talent the WWE roster possesses, does not compare to the legends it has previously boasted.
This is why 2015 should be the year for some, if not many, of these Divas legends to make at least one appearance on WWE television or even perhaps appear for "one more match."
While the likes of Paige and The Bella Twins have provided some interesting moments and turning points in matches over the past year, the Divas division has still fallen victim to some laughable story lines created by WWE.
If there was ever a chance that a male WWE Superstar would become a fellow wrestler's slave if they lost their match, the WWE Universe would certainly be furious and criticise why the idea ever came about.

When this was the case between twin sisters Brie and Nikki Bella however, it only added to the lack of focus which WWE appears to have for its Divas division, emphasising the attention the company needs to give to it this year.
The possibility of a WWE legend facing a current Superstar is a huge deal to not only the industry, but the WWE Universe too.
With this in mind, should the likes of WWE Divas Icons Trish Stratus or Lita make an in-ring return at any point this year, it would be ideal for the women's division.
Both of these legendary wrestlers made a WWE appearance during 2014, when Trish Stratus returned to induct her long-term best friend and ex-WWE superstar Lita into the WWE Hall of Fame.
British WWE Superstar Paige has gained a huge following since bursting onto the professional wrestling scene and, having worked her way to the top, would be an ideal opponent for someone like Stratus.
A singles match like this is an exciting prospect but even a tag team bout between the legends and current female WWE Superstars is something the company should bare in mind.
This is of course only possible if the ex-wrestlers are able to fit in even just a one-off appearance around their hectic schedules, but it would surely be worth both their and WWE's while.
